Optical Coherence Tomography
It’s called Optical Coherence Tomography, “OCT” for short. OCT is a non-invasive
technology used for capturing the retina, the multi-layered sensory tissue
lining the back of the eye. OCT, the first machine to allow doctors to
see cross-sectional images of the retina, is revolutionizing the early
detection and treatment of eye conditions such as macular holes, pre-retinal
membranes, macular swelling and even optic nerve damage.

punctal plug is a small medical device that is inserted into the tear duct
(puncta) of an eye to block the duct. It prevents the drainage of fluid
from the eye. They are used to treat dry eye.
Temporary punctal occlusions can be inserted and tried first. These are
made of collagen and are dissolvable.
It can be ascertain that permanent ones will not cause excessive tearing.
Permanent punctal plugs are usually made of silicone. Some plugs are made
of thermally reactive material. Some of these are inserted into the lacrimal
punctum and then they harden and conform to the individual's drainage system.
Others start out rigid and become soft and flexible, adapting to the individual's
punctal size after they are inserted.
Artificial tears are usually still required after punctal plug insertion.

This is the eye fundus camera for retina .
We will put fluorascent agents in blood vessels and check blood flow.
You have to make a reseavation for this examination.

We will open normally until July 16th, but we will move to the new office
on July 17th due to the reconstruction of our building. (Please refer the
map below.)
The new office is located to a 30-seconds walking distance.
Please make sure that our new ofiice is the 8th floor of the building on
near side of Kinokuniya book store.
