Contact Lenses

Basic flow to get contact lenses.

You need to see an ophthalmologist before you get contact lenses.
About Prescription for Contact Lenses

      We measure your eye refractivity, radius of corneal curvature and the degree of eye pressure using TONOREF Ⅲ.

      We test your visual acuity based on the data to find out how much myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism you have.

      You can choose your best contact lenses among our lineup.

      Wear the contact lens chosen, check your view  ability again and adjust the power.

      We test your vision again.

      Consultation

      The doctor will examine your eyes to check not only the fitting of the lens, but also the health condition of your eyes.
      You cannot a prescription if the doctor determines that you have any symptoms.

      If you use contact lenses for the first time, you will practice wearing them (putting them on and taking them off) after the consultation.
      Please note that the practice session is limited to 30 minutes, as touching the eyes for more than 30 minutes may cause damage to the eyes.
      If we cannot confirm that you can put on and take off the lenses within the 30 minutes, you will be asked to come back at a later date to practice again.
      (No fee will be charged if you come back only for practice at a later date. If you get a checkup then, you will be charged a consultation fee.)
      If you are unable to put on and remove the lenses by yourself, we will not be able to give you a prescription and the lenses.

    • Payments

      You will be charged about 1500yen, and you will receive the prescription.
      You can get trial lenses with the prescription, and the warranty to exchange or return the lenses.

      We accept credit card for payment.

About regular check up

Even if you do not feel uncomfortable while using contact lenses every day, there is a possibility that the lens or your eyes has been damaged.
We recommend that you get a regular check up of your lenses and eyes even if you are not concerned any symptoms.
If you feel something strange in your eye or lenses, please come to our clinic immediately.

Precautions for wearing contact lenses

Comply with the usage period and wearing time of the day, and the lens cleaning rule except for one-day disposable lenses.

Clean the contact lens case and replace it at least once every three months.

One-day contact lenses are completely disposable and do not require maintenance.

Whatever type of lenses you use, we recommend that you bring a one-day type lenses to be ready just in case of emergency.
